Making our own replacement parts

Hi Finally I received the connectors. It took me much more times finding the connectors than launching the cnc manufacturing.

I assembled the heater blocs.

And it is ready to ship

Unfortunatly all the parts have been already sold.
If people want more parts please let me know. if I have enough requests I will start a small production.

Hi Nightmare, did you ever end up making any more of these? Would definitely be interested in ordering a few if so.

Thanks,
CAL

I would be interested as well.

hope my friend still have some in stock.

It is sold by pair left and right

Do you mind sharing your CAD files for the heater block? I have an idea for simply creating an adaptor to fit 6mm nozzles

Sorry, I don’t have the CADs, I’ve just contacted the CNC company that originally manufactured the parts for Zeepro. They don’t share the CADs

By the way, I asked my friend who sell the parts to spearate left and right heater bloc.

So now, you can buy just one heater block instead of a pair. I purchased 10 pairs and and already sold 6 pairs.
If needed i could purchase more. the cost is a little high because I purchase very low volume.

I can’t seem to access the website, could I buy a heater block off you?

Hi. I also can’t access the website. Do you still have these parts for sale? If not, then is it possible to 3d print a carriage that will fit on the zims rods but accommodate a different hot end? E3dv6 for example.

I’ve reached out to a friend in the cnc business after creating my own hot end. I’m going to 3d print a copy oh the hot end to make sure I have all the right dimensions, but I got the price for two pieces at $66 for two pieces including shipping. I suppose it would be possible to make a custom carriage for an e3d v6, although I believe it would take some custom modification to the top end stop as the e3dv6 is longer than the stock zim extruder. I believe that the B3 pico hot end or the e3d v6 lite may work, and I’ll try and get a carriage going for the v6.

Hi David. That would be amazing if we can print a carriage that would accommodate the e3dv6 lite.
Also the 2 for $66 hot ends you’re talking about, would they be for the standard 6mm nozzles and standard heat cartridges or would they be the same as the standard zim?

By the way, have you heard of this hot end. —>http://deltaprintr.com/shop/parts-and-accessories/hardware/mini-hotend/

Would that be ok for the zim?

Standard 6mm nozzles, I may be able to get the price significantly lower as my school recently bought cnc mills but they have yet to be assembled. As for the e3d carriage, without messing with the offsets it’s impossible to fit two e3d v6’s.

It’s not a problem. I can wait if the CNC mills are not ready. But that’s up to you as you’ve said that you have another source. Put me down for 2 hot ends once the mills are set up.

Would it be possible to fit just 1 mini e3dv6 lite ?

Fitting just one is very possible, I’ll draw up a mount, and share it on thingiverse

Hello,
Sorry I called my friend and the site had a small issue. The server was under maintenance.
The Site is online again.

I just bought a pair of heaters with standard 6 mm nozzles from these guys: https://3dprintermods.com/index.php? and installed them yesterday. They are awesome!1

@David, that would be great if you can draw up a mount for a single e3dv6 lite on the zim. Please let me know when it’s available.

Thanks so much

i recently bought an e3d chimera, will try to get it in when it arrives …

Hi @WenboDou. I just looked up the e3d chimera. That would be a great hot end for the zeepro since its also dual extrusion. Will you draw up a mount/carriage that will make the e3d chimera fit onto the zim.? I hope it’s possible. Can’t wait to see if you can get it in.

Thanks

i’ll certainly try lol

if i do make any sort of stl files i’ll post them here
