Failing Prints, printer head runs to endstop

Hello all,

Been lurking here for a while. Got my Zim switched over to Octoprint a while back, and just finally started printing recently. First few prints had some failures, but then got a few good prints. Yay, for a while at least. Anyway now I’m running into a problem where the printer will randomly send the head to the inner right corner and hit the endstop. It does it reliably on every print at this point, so I’m not sure what the problem let alone the fix is.

I’m using Cura 2.3 which is what I’ve been using from the beginning. I typically use extruder 2 (the left one) as thats been the most reliable non jamming one. I have gone through and looked at the g-code when it happens and I don’t see a reason for this.

Any ideas?

can you check the terminal to see if the logs for the gcode seem to send it to absolute <0 in any axis?

are you zeroing axis before startnig to print?
are you maybe setting relative positioning instead of absolute?

couple different things would cause it. maybe upload one of your gcodes
actually maybe try the same gcode twice and see if the problem is repeatable. does it fail at the same time/place ?
