Routing for Filament Tubing

On my “used” ZeePro the filament tubing (if that’s the right name for it} from the cartridge to the print head sometimes “binds up” while the head is moving. In fact it appears that it’s current routing is not where it should be.

Does anyone have a photo, drawing or even a good description as to how this tubing should be positioned to allow unconstrained movement of the print head?

Thanks GE

I can only give you these advices:

  • drop the cartridge
  • drop lower filament drive and all its problems with tubing and so on
  • use direct and short tubes from filament spools hanging on the back using JPODs designed spool holders to the head

voila all current and more important many future problems gone

Agree with @3DPrintEvangelist Here’s @jpod’s spool holder with an extra hook for 2.9" wide spools. You can see some pics of my setup there as well:

I agree with you guys. but if yu want the path it is easy.
the tubes get down in the column in a black electric tube and go in a specific patch on the base plate (under the cartridges) the big loop on the base plate is there to balance the movement of the heads.
The key point is that the 2 tubes must NOT cross each other else the movement will not be free.

Anyhow you should get rid of this tubing system
