I bought some of this stuff from Amazon for the heated bed, and have tried a couple of ABS and PLA prints on it. I believe this is the same stuff they are putting on the new Lulzbot Mini’s. So far it works great. The first layer really sticks until it reaches room temperature. 60C for PLA and 100C for ABS. No glue, tape, slurry, or chicken bones required. I used the thinnest sheet (0.03 in). So far I’d say it’s something worth giving a try if you have the heated bed. The PLA sticks about the same as Build-Tak, but then pops right off when it cools to room temperature.
