Guide through importing my own model

Greetings,

Would someone be kind enough to guide me through the process of importing my own model to be sliced? The Manuel stopped short of explaining in depth the process, specifically what should happen.

I tried importing a .stl file and was presented with an isometric grid with size editing with no real sense of what to do next.

If you cannot see your model in the grid, I would check the scale or unit scale of your object. Your model should appear in the grid. Then you can select slicer preset, and afterwards print.

Thank You Erikbe, it looks like the scale from Blender to Zim is whacky. 13metres in blender is about 3 cm in Zim. So i got a lot of blender configuration to do. I wish there was a more accurate visual of how big the model is in the Zim software. the Grid picture isn’t very good. Instead i think i’d prefer actual numbers saying what size the model would currently print at. Or am i missing that somewhere?
